Death Wears Yellow Garters

By Rae D. Magdon

Long-time no read eh? Here I am tho. With a brand new review for a not so new book.

So Let’s dive into Death Wears Yellow Garters by Rae D. Magdon. If you want to read a mystery plot with a heavy side of sugary sweet romance, search no more. This book is one of Rae D. Magdon previous release, I don’t think it was her debut novel, but it is fresh and candid just like a new author can do.

The plot is well constructed and takes the reader for quite an interesting journey. It’s twist after turn, after hoops, the reader can really dive into the emotional rollercoaster alongside the characters. There are 3 *principals* characters: Jay - a little gay nugget with anxiety disorder-, Nicole - A young women from the high society who’s head over heels for Jay -, and Mimi - Jay’s aunt that may seem like a nut job but got her heart and intentions are in a good place. The three of them are somehow dragged into solving the murder of Nicole Grandfather. This investigation will bring tears and laugh, it will test the strength of every relationship among this whacky family. While Jay tries to kept her anxiety under control the reader might fail - like me- to do so. It’s a relief that some scenes are so sweets that both characters and readers can catch a break and avoid a heart attack.

More than anything to story is about people, and if you read a few of my review you know it’s my favorite kind. So, it’s no surprise that I suggest all of you give it a try.

I’ll share a little secret with you dear readers, just for Aunt Mimi, you should read it. She is the kind of nuts you want on your side.

Until next time!
